Fabián Basabe is a Republican representing Florida House District 106 in Miami-Dade County, covering the coastal areas east of Biscayne Boulevard from Fisher Island to past Golden Beach, including Aventura, parts of North Miami, and 10 cities with two unincorporated areas. Born on March 30, 1978, in New York City, he moved to Florida in 1987 and resides in Miami Beach with his spouse, Martina Borgomanero Basabe of Italy, and child, F. Brando B. Basabe. A Roman Catholic, he was first elected in 2022, reelected subsequently, with terms extending to 2030.
