Biography

Evan J. Vickers is a Republican member of the Utah State Senate representing District 28 since January 1, 2013. A lifelong resident of southern Utah and a pharmacist/business owner, he began his political career on the Cedar City Council from 1987 to 1999, followed by service in the Utah House of Representatives from 2009 to 2012. He was re-elected in November 2022 and will serve until December 31, 2026. Notable achievements include awards as Legislator of the Year from the Utah Pharmacists Association, NFIB Utah Small Business Champion of the Year, and Man of the Year.
