Evan P. Shanley is a Democratic state representative from Rhode Island's House District 24, which encompasses Warwick. Born on October 17, 1986, Shanley has represented his district since his initial election in November 2016. He currently serves as chairman of the House State Government and Elections Committee and holds membership on both the House Innovation and Technology Committee and the House Rules Committee.

Education

Shanley graduated from Toll Gate High School in 2005 and earned his bachelor's degree in political science and history from Providence College in 2009, graduating magna cum laude. He later attended The Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Law, Philosophy and Culture.
