Erika Booth is a Republican representative for Florida House District 35, which covers most of Osceola County and eastern parts of Orange County. Born on September 27, 1977, in Kissimmee, Florida, she is an educator and former Osceola County School Board member . She won election to the Florida House on November 5, 2024, defeating Democrat Tom Keen in a rematch after losing a 2024 special election; she was sworn in on November 19, 2024. Notable achievements include two-time Teacher of the Year, over 20 years as an educator in Osceola Schools , and project manager for Youth Leadership Osceola and Project OPEN serving at-risk youth. She is married to Osceola County Commissioner Ricky Booth, with three children: Nellie, Natalie, and Thomas. Community involvement includes Florida Farm Bureau , Bookmark Buddies Mentor Program, Silver Spurs Riding Club, and PEO Philanthropic Organization.
