Biography
Erica C. Crawley is a Democratic politician and attorney serving as a member of the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, where she holds the positions of Vice Chair and President. She previously represented Ohio's 26th House District in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2019 to 2021. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, first-generation college graduate, mother of twin girls, and advocate for children and families, she is noted as the first Black person in her commissioner role and has earned awards including 2017 Graduate of the Year for the Black Law Students Association, Capital University Law School Dean’s Ambassador Award, and Order of the Barristers.

- Ohio House of Representatives, 26th District : Served on committees including Armed Services and Veterans Affairs, Finance, and Primary and Secondary Education; elected in 2018 with 82% of the vote and unopposed in 2020.
- Franklin County Board of Commissioners : Vice Chair and President; prior advocacy work with Cuyahoga County Job & Family Services, YMCA Head Start, CASA, and Black Child Development Institute; member of Columbus Bar Association, American Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Franklin County, and League of Women Voters.
