Biography
Eric Koch is a Republican State Senator representing District 44 in Indiana, which includes Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, and Orange counties, and portions of Monroe County. He serves as chairman of the Senate Committee on Utilities, ranking member of the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Senate Committee on Commerce, and represents Indiana as a commissioner on the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. An eighth-generation Hoosier raised on a grain and livestock farm, Koch has over 35 years of legal experience and previously served in the Indiana House of Representatives for District 65 from 2002 to 2016. Notable positions include President-Elect of the Society of Indiana Pioneers, member of the Indiana Commission on Court Appointed Attorneys, Indiana Commercial Courts Committee, and board director for Mid-Southern Savings Bank FSB.
