Senator Eric L. Buckson ** represents **Delaware's 16th Senate District. A lifelong resident of Kent County, Delaware, he was first elected to the Delaware General Assembly in 2022 and is serving his term as a retired public school teacher from the Polytech School District and former Kent County Levy Court Commissioner. He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1983 and earned degrees from the University of Delaware. Buckson is married to Jennifer and they have four children: Krisanne, Brent, Graham, and Leiah. He serves on multiple committees, including Education, Finance, Health & Social Services, Housing & Land Use, Veterans Affairs, Elections & Government Affairs, Environment, Energy & Transportation, and Joint Finance.
