Biography
Eric Wyatt Bell II is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing District 75. A fifth-generation Atlanta native raised in Clayton County, he was elected in a 2023 special election to replace Mike Glanton. He attended Brown Elementary, Rivers Edge Elementary, Mundy's Mill Middle, and Mundy's Mill High Schools, and has shown strong commitment to scholarship, stewardship, and leadership. After serving as a United States Naval Aviation Officer with an honorable discharge in 2015, he organized school supply drives, community clean-ups, toiletry drives, voter registration drives, mentoring programs, and voting and civil rights demonstrations across the Southeast. He worked with the Economic Development Department of South Africa and Fulton County on economic strategies emphasizing communal development, race and gender relations, and resource distribution, and served in Senator Lester Jackson's office during the 2017 Georgia Legislative Session. Currently, he is the Government Affairs Coordinator at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and serves on numerous non-profit boards. Notable positions include membership on the House Committee on Small Business Development; he advocates for state-owned industrial farms to combat poverty, food scarcity, and create economic opportunities.
