Biography

Eric S. Bassler is a Republican state senator representing District 39 in the Indiana Senate, which includes Daviess, Greene, Knox, and Martin counties, and portions of Owen and Sullivan counties. He was elected in November 2014 and has served since then. A financial advisor at Edward Jones in Washington, Indiana, Bassler previously worked as a senior credit advisor at Bannock Consulting in England, Armenia, Russia, and Kazakhstan, and as a consultant on bank reform projects. He also volunteered with the Peace Corps in the Soviet Union, Albania, and Ukraine.
