Emily Gregory was born on May 11, 1985, in Stuart, Florida, where she grew up on the Treasure Coast before settling in Jupiter. She is a Catholic, Army spouse, and mother of three sons: Jack, Luke, and Benjamin. Her spouse is Andrew Gregory of Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Gregory is a South Florida native and describes herself as a community-focused leader dedicated to fighting for working families. She is a small business owner and public health professional with a focus on evidence-based solutions.

Education

Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University .

Political Experience

Gregory was a first-time political candidate when she ran in the 2026 special election for Florida's 87th House District. She won the race with 51.19% of the vote against Republican Jon Maples, defeating him by a narrow margin of 2.4 percentage points. This victory was particularly notable as the district encompasses Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump's personal residence, and had voted for Trump by 11 points in the 2024 presidential election.

Prior to her election, Gregory worked as a small business owner, leading FIT4MOM Palm Beach, a fitness community for pregnant and postpartum women offering accessible programs. She also has experience in mental health and state government. Her campaign focused on local issues including lowering property insurance costs, expanding health care access, and strengthening public schools.
