Biography
Representative Emerson Levy
Emerson Levy is an American attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives for the 53rd district, which encompasses northern Bend, southern Redmond, Tumalo, Sisters, Black Butte, Cloverdale, and Eagle Crest in Central Oregon. She was elected in November 2022 and assumed office on January 9, 2023, succeeding Jack Zika.
Levy is a mother, attorney, educator, and advocate for bipartisanship. She is deeply committed to creating safer communities through initiatives focused on wildfire safety, school security, and road safety. Outside of her legislative duties, she works as a self-employed renewable energy attorney and previously worked as a real estate due diligence consultant at Sustainable Capital Finance from 2017 to 2020.
Education
Levy holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Brigham Young University and a *Juris Doctor * from Whittier College Law School.
