David Elliott Pritt, born March 23, 1990, in Beckley, West Virginia, is a Republican delegate representing District 50 in the West Virginia House of Delegates. A teacher of social studies and English, he is married to Ashton Pritt, with four children; his parents are David A. and Rebecca Pritt. He is Roman Catholic and affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7695. Notably, Pritt switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party during his first term, strengthening the GOP supermajority in the House to 89 members. He previously served as a United States Air Force Staff Sergeant in Comm/Nav/Mission Systems from 2008 to 2014.
