Ellen Troxclair
Ellen Troxclair is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives representing District 19, which encompasses Blanco, Burnet, Gillespie, Kendall, and western Travis Counties. A small business owner, nonprofit leader, and national bestselling author, Troxclair resides in Lakeway, Texas.
She is married to Caleb and is recognized as a devoted mother and advocate for conservative policies. Troxclair founded and operates Troxclair Residential Group, a thriving real estate business that has earned her recognition as one of the best Realtors in Austin through multiple professional awards.
Political Experience
Troxclair was elected to the Texas House in 2022, winning decisively with 72.6% of the vote against Democrat Pam Baggett and independent Kodi Sawin. She previously served on the Austin City Council from 2015 to 2019, representing the 8th district—making her the youngest woman ever elected to that body and the lone conservative voice during her tenure.
