Elizabeth Wilson is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 73 in central Linn County, including most of Marion and surrounding areas. Born on February 24, 1964, in Manchester, Iowa, she is a small business owner, mother of two, and long-time Marion resident who assumed office on January 9, 2023, after defeating Republican Susie Weinacht by 300 votes in the 2022 general election. She serves on the House Committee on Legislative Council and the House Committee on Agriculture.

Education and Political Experience

Wilson holds a BA from Cornell College and an MBA from Tippie College of Business. This marks her first term in the Iowa House , following her unopposed Democratic primary win in June 2022 after redistricting. As a new representative from Linn County, she advocates for fair opportunities for Iowans and families.
