Biography

Elizabeth Burrows is a Democratic representative for Windsor-1 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2021. A resident of West Windsor, she represents Windsor-1, which includes Hartland, West Windsor, and Windsor, sharing the seat with John Bartholomew. Her family has deep roots in Vermont dating back to its earliest days. Burrows has traveled extensively across the U.S. and internationally, with Windsor and West Windsor as lifelong anchors before permanently settling in Vermont. Notable achievements include chairing the House Discrimination Prevention Panel and serving on the House Committee on General and Housing, where she has advanced legislation on housing, discrimination protections, and labor issues.
