Biography
Eileen L. Cody is a former American politician who served as a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives. She represented the 34th Legislative District from 2002 until her retirement in 2022 after more than 27 years in office. Prior to that, she was appointed to the 11th Legislative District in 1994, serving five terms until 2002. A registered nurse specializing in patient rehabilitation, she is a founding member and former Treasurer of District 1199 Northwest Hospital and Health Care Workers, SEIU/AFL-CIO. Notable achievements include the Outstanding State Legislator Award in Health Care, recognized as a tenacious health care advocate focused on value-based reforms.
Education and Political Experience
