Biography
Edna Branch Jackson is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing District 165 . She previously served as Mayor of Savannah from 2012 to 2015, becoming the first female African-American to hold that office, and as alderman at large on the Savannah City Council for three terms and mayor pro tempore for two terms.
