Biography

Senator Edgar Flores ** represents **Nevada State Senate District 2, covering parts of Clark County in the eastern Las Vegas Valley. Born in 1986 in Las Vegas to immigrant parents, he is an attorney focused on consumer protection, immigration issues, and education.

Edgar R. Flores serves as a Democratic member of the Nevada State Senate for District 2 since winning election in November 2022; his current term ends November 4, 2026. He previously represented Nevada Assembly District 28 from 2015 to 2022, including as Majority Whip in 2021-2022. Notable achievements include sponsoring legislation mandating businesses accept green cards as ID, reforming payday lending, combating predatory fake-lawyer businesses , and addressing the Nevada squatter crisis .
