Eddie J. Lambert is a Republican State Senator representing District 18 in Louisiana, which includes Ascension, Livingston, and St. James Parishes. First elected in 2015, he is eligible to serve through the 2024-2028 term, with the next election in 2027. Notable positions include Chair of the Senate Committee on Environmental Quality, Vice Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Homeland Security, and member of committees on Natural Resources, Revenue and Fiscal Affairs, and Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development .
