Biography
Ed Stafman is a Democratic politician who represented Montana House District 59 . Born in 1954 in Key West, Florida, he is a rabbi, former civil rights attorney, and served in the Montana House of Representatives from January 2021 until his resignation in November 2025 to focus on family and grandchildren. Notable achievements include specializing in death penalty cases, contributing to the Bush v. Gore litigation in 2000, and sponsoring legislation to abolish the death penalty in Montana.
