Biography
Representative Ed Soliday
Edmond L. Soliday was born on April 3, 1945, and is a Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 4. He is based in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Before entering politics, Soliday had a distinguished military and aviation career. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, where he attained the rank of warrant officer and flew helicopters in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he became a captain at United Airlines, where he worked for 35 years as both a pilot and an executive.

Soliday has authored and sponsored various legislation during his tenure in the Indiana House of Representatives. His legislative work has focused on areas including motor vehicle bureau operations and state police administration.
