Ed Neilson is a former Democrat member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 169. Neilson was first elected to the 179th District in a 2012 special election. He assumed office on April 24, 2012. Neilson is a union carpenter by trade. Before serving in the legislature he was a member of Carpenters Local Union 255.
