Representative Carol Hill-Evans

Democratic representative for Pennsylvania's 95th Legislative District , serving since 2017.

Carol Hill-Evans, born November 21, 1949, is a lifelong resident of York City, Pennsylvania. A Democrat, she was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2016, defeating Republican Joel Sears, and has been re-elected multiple times, including unopposed in 2018 and 2022. Her district focuses on issues like equitable education funding, economic development, homelessness, and support for veterans and first responders. She previously served nine years on York City Council as both vice president and president. A retired human resources professional with 27 years at Caterpillar Inc., she is a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 127 Auxiliary and VFW Post 556 Auxiliary, and a member of Small Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church.
