Ed Butler is a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 41. He is a self-employed small businessman with over 20 years of experience, a U.S. Navy veteran, and an advocate for veterans' rights, including healthcare. Raised by Christian parents in a family emphasizing hard work and values, he is the oldest of three boys; his mother Pat retired after 36 years as a teacher, his father Ed as a small business owner, brother Rhett as a small business owner, and brother James in manufacturing. Ed is active in Livingston Life Church, serves as Treasurer on the Executive Board of Adult and Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland, is RFTW Assistant TN State Coordinator, and participates in La Ola Ministries as a Construction Board Member. He has joined mission trips to build churches in Alaska, Costa Rica, and Uruguay, and served in Haiti and Mexico.
