Earle Stewart Banks Sr. is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 67 since 1993. Born on June 25, 1954, in Jackson, Mississippi, he is an attorney, accountant, and owner of Autumn Woods Cemetery and Peoples Funeral Home, as well as president of Banks and Associates.

Education and Political Experience

• Earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Jackson State University and a Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law.
• Elected to the Mississippi House in 1992; serves on committees and is involved in civic groups like 100 Black Men, Jackson State University Foundation, Magnolia Bar Association, Red Cross, and YMCA.
• In 2023, sentenced to two years probation for filing a false income tax statement in 2020.
