Senator Dru Mamo Kanuha ** represents **Senate District 3 in Hawaii, encompassing Kona, Kaʻū, and Volcano following the 2022 reapportionment. Born in Kealakekua and raised in the ahupuaʻa of Hōlualoa near the shore, his father Jerome's family has deep generational roots in the Keōpū ahupuaʻa, while his mother Debbie, originally from Pennsylvania and raised in California, has lived in Kona for over 40 years.
