Biography
Drew MacEwen is a Republican state senator representing Washington's 35th Legislative District, which encompasses all of Mason County and parts of Kitsap and Thurston counties. Born on June 12, 1973, he resides in Shelton with his wife Danelle, and is the parent of two grown children who served in the Marines and grandfather to five grandchildren. A U.S. Navy veteran from the Submarine Force and graduate of the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program, MacEwen founded Falcon Financial, Inc., and serves as managing partner of Mountain Lakes Capital Management LLC, with investments in local businesses. He advocates for public safety, better schools, government accountability, tax relief, economic growth, and private sector jobs, earning recognitions from the National Federation of Independent Business and Association of Washington Business. As Senate Deputy Republican Leader, he serves on the Senate committees for Environment, Energy & Technology; Transportation; Labor & Commerce; and Rules.
