Dori Healey
Dori Healey is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives representing the 15B district. A fourth-generation Idahoan born in Midvale, Idaho, she is a mother of two children and resides in Boise with her family. Beyond her legislative role, Healey owns and operates Idaho Outreach Medicine, a mobile primary care and medical weight loss business that provides in-home healthcare solutions in Boise. She actively supports charitable causes benefiting children and veterans and engages in community service initiatives.
Education and Professional Background
Healey holds two master's degrees: one in nursing education and another in business administration . She is an advanced practice nurse with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Her medical background distinguishes her as one of the few practicing healthcare providers serving in the Idaho legislature, bringing firsthand patient care experience to her legislative work.
Political Experience
Healey is currently serving her second term in the Idaho House of Representatives after winning the 2024 general election with 13,098 votes against Democratic opponent Shari Baber, who received 11,318 votes. She ran unopposed in the 2024 Republican primary. Her legislative priorities include reducing taxes, combating inflation, securing school funding, shaping education policy, and advocating for healthcare reforms. She is seeking her third consecutive term in the 2026 general election.
