Biography
Donny Carr Lambeth is a Republican representing North Carolina House District 75 , a position he has held since 2013. A lifelong resident of Forsyth County, he serves as a consultant and has seven terms in the House as of the 2025-2026 session. Notable achievements include a 40-year career at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he was chief operating officer for 11 years and president/CEO for four years; awards such as the N.C. Health Care Hero Award , Region’s Most Influential Leader , and 2014 Heritage Award from the North Carolina Baptist Foundation; and leadership roles like Chair of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School Board and North Carolina All-State School Board . Current positions include Senior Chair of Appropriations, Chair of Health and Appropriations-Health and Human Services , and Chair of Health, with focuses on health care reform, Medicaid, education, and insurance.
