Biography
Donna Veach is a Republican state representative serving Connecticut's 30th Assembly District, which includes the towns of Berlin and Southington. Elected in 2020 after defeating Democratic challenger JoAnn Angelico-Stetson, she assumed office on January 6, 2021, and won re-election in 2024, with her current term ending in 2027. She also serves on the Berlin Town Council since 2019 and owns Copperpott Farms, a small business focused on canning and baking. Previously, she worked as development and marketing director for Hungerford Nature Center and New Britain Youth Museum, and as a notary. A conservative advocate for limited government, rule of law, free markets, personal freedoms, law enforcement, veterans, small businesses, and non-profits, she is an avid hunter, gardener, and outdoor enthusiast married to Berlin Police Officer Jeff Veach, with three daughters who are registered nurses and a granddaughter.
