Biography
Donna Givens is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 64 since November 9, 2022. Elected in the 2022 election after defeating Libertarian opponent Jeff May, she previously won a close Republican primary by 201 votes against Angelo Fermo. The daughter of a trucker, Givens brings over 47 years of experience in governmental affairs, economic development, and community service; she retired from Baldwin County EMC the year before her election. Notable roles include chair of the North & Central Baldwin Chambers of Commerce, service on the boards of the South Baldwin Chamber and South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, the county zoning board, and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Advisory Council. She is running for re-election in the 2026 primary.
