Don Wilson is a Republican who served as a Colorado state representative for House District 20 from 2023 to 2025, and briefly for House District 19 in 2022-2023. Originally from Littleton, Colorado, he later resided in Monument, where he served as mayor after being elected to the Town Board of Trustees in 2016 and as Mayor Pro-Tem until 2018. Notable achievements include co-sponsoring a 2019 referendum against the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact , the first such citizen-led initiative in over 80 years, engaging voters statewide. He has held positions on the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, I-25 GAP Coalition, I-25 Steering Committee, Pikes Peak Regional Building Commissioner, and Monument Economic Development Committee. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and aeronautics instructor for middle school STEM programs, Wilson emphasized service in community, state, and country.
