Don Mayhew

Don Mayhew is a Republican state representative who serves District 124 in the Missouri House of Representatives, representing parts of Miller and Pulaski County. He grew up in rural Missouri and has established himself as a dedicated public servant with deep roots in his community.

Mayhew has been married to his wife Deanna for 39 years and has 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Throughout his career, he has maintained his identity as a small-business owner while pursuing public service. He is an avid outdoorsman and proud member of the NRA. Mayhew is pro-life and advocates strongly for free speech and religious liberty.

Education

Mayhew attended the University of Missouri-Rolla, where he became a licensed Engineer and Surveyor.

Political Experience

Mayhew brings seven years of legislative experience to his current role. His professional background includes:

• Pulaski County Surveyor
• Member of the Pulaski County Republican Central Committee
• Local school board service

In the Missouri House, Mayhew serves as the only engineer in the chamber. He holds significant committee positions, including Chairman of the Subcommittee on Appropriations - Public Safety, Corrections, Transportation, and Revenue, where he focuses on protecting taxpayer dollars. He also serves as Chair of the House Committee on Transportation Accountability and is a member of the House Committee on Fiscal Review.
