Don Jones
Don Jones is a Republican who represented Ohio's 95th House District from January 2019 until his resignation on June 1, 2025. He is from Freeport, Ohio, and was born in Cadiz, Ohio. Jones is married to Amy and has two children. He is active in his community through the Minksville Church of Christ.
Prior to his legislative career, Jones operated a commercial cow and calf operation, demonstrating significant agricultural expertise. He is also experienced in business, with connections to the agricultural and resource sectors.
Political Experience
Jones served three terms in the Ohio House of Representatives, representing a district that includes all of Harrison, Noble, and Morgan Counties and portions of Belmont, Guernsey, and Athens Counties.
During his tenure in the legislature, Jones held several notable positions:
