Biography
Dolly Henley is a Republican representing District 88 in the Arkansas House of Representatives, covering all of Hempstead County and portions of Miller and Howard counties. She is a Baptist and retired from public administration. Currently serving her first term in the 95th General Assembly, she has announced her bid for re-election, emphasizing faith, family, fiscal responsibility, and freedom. Notable achievements include co-sponsoring Act 123 , Act 330 , and Act 1012 .
Education and Political Experience
- Earned an Associate of Arts degree while serving as executive director of Hempstead Hall at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.
- Previously served as Recreation Director for the City of Hope, AR, and Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Nashville, AR, focusing on community development and recreational facilities.
- Serves on the House Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee.
- Legislative priorities include improving healthcare access, education and workforce opportunities, and supporting agriculture.
