Representative Dillon Travis
Dillon Travis is a Republican member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 35 since February 18, 2026. He is a sixth-generation Oklahoman born and raised in Pawnee County, with roots in the Maramec community.
Travis comes from an agricultural background and is a working farmer and rancher. He owns and operates Southern Plains AG-CO, a regional agricultural supply company that serves farmers across four states. He also manages a large cattle and hay operation in Maramec. When his father passed away suddenly in 2021, Travis took on the responsibility of managing the family's land and legacy.
He is married to Kaylee, who works as a lecturer in agricultural communications at Oklahoma State University. Together they are raising their daughter Raylee.
Education and Political Experience
Travis graduated from Cleveland High School and attended Connors State College. Before entering politics, he developed extensive experience in agriculture and small business ownership.
He was elected to the state house through a special election to succeed former Representative Ty Burns. In December 2025, Travis was one of five Republican candidates who filed to run in the special election. He advanced to a runoff election, which he won with over 78% of the vote against former Pawnee County Sheriff Mike Waters. On February 10, 2026, he defeated Democratic nominee Luke Kruse in the general election and was sworn in on February 18, 2026.
House District 35 is centered on Pawnee County and includes parts of Osage, Creek, Payne, and Noble counties. During his campaign, Travis focused on key priorities including fixing rural infrastructure, protecting local school control, combating drug trafficking, and supporting family farms and agricultural interests.
