Senator Dick Bradstreet

Richard "Dick" T. Bradstreet is a Republican state senator representing District 15 in the Maine State Senate, covering Kennebec County towns including Augusta, Belgrade, China, Mount Vernon, Sidney, and Vassalboro. He assumed office in December 2024 after serving multiple terms in the Maine House of Representatives.

Born and raised in Maine, Bradstreet graduated from Lawrence High School and resides in Vassalboro with his wife, JoAnne. They have three children, including Amy Arata, and seven grandchildren. A retired businessman, he owned and operated Bradstreet Homes, a manufactured and modular home retailer, from 1985 to 2014 . He previously served as Executive Director of the Manufactured Housing Association of Maine and is a member of the State of Maine Manufactured Housing Board. Bradstreet has held community roles such as former chair of the School Administrative District 49 school board, member of the Albion Comprehensive Plan Committee, and former board chair of Winslow Community Federal Credit Union . He currently serves on the Budget Committee for the Town of Vassalboro. Notable interests include reading, traveling, and watching sports. In the legislature, he serves on the Labor Committee, Joint Select Committee on Housing, and Engrossed Bills Committee, building on prior roles as ranking member of the House Labor and Housing Committee and service on the Judiciary Committee.
