Biography
Diane Pauer
Diane Pauer is a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives serving Hillsborough District 36, which represents Brookline, Mason, and Greenville. She has been serving in this position since 2020 and was re-elected in November 2024.
Pauer has been a New Hampshire resident for 36 years and a Brookline resident for 30 years. She is a military spouse, married to Colonel Eric Pauer , and has two adult children who were born, raised, and college educated in New Hampshire. She has dedicated herself to full-time representation in the state house with no outside employment or commitments.
Beyond her legislative role, Pauer has been active in her community as a volunteer and pro-bono special education advocate and advisor.
Education
Pauer earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with High Distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Political Experience
Pauer serves as Chairman of the House Municipal & County Government Committee, a position she has held since 2022 . She has been a member of this committee since 2020.
Prior to her legislative service, she served on the Hollis Brookline Cooperative School District Budget Committee as Chair and Member from 2012 to 2015.
Before entering politics, Pauer worked as a digital and firmware design engineer and technical instructor in military and private sectors.
