Diana M. Fennell is a Democratic delegate representing District 47A in Prince George's County in the Maryland House of Delegates, serving since 2015. Born August 6, 1967, in Emporia, Virginia, she is a breast cancer survivor and resilient advocate for equity, healthcare access, fair wages, and social justice. Notable achievements include her prior service as mayor of Colmar Manor , town council member , and leadership roles such as 2020 Assistant Speaker Pro Tem, Deputy Majority Whip , and 2nd Vice Chair of the Prince George's County Delegation . She championed MD HB815 in 2023 to expand cancer screening and address healthcare disparities, and received the Gratitude Award from Colmar Manor in 2010.
