Biography
Denise Crosswhite Hader is a Republican representative for Oklahoma House District 41, which includes parts of Canadian, Kingfisher, Logan, and Oklahoma counties, such as Cashion, Oklahoma City, and Piedmont. A fifth-generation Oklahoman born April 11, 1965, in Oklahoma City and raised in Piedmont, she has served in the House since 2018 and was re-elected by default in 2020. She serves as Vice Chair of Elections and Ethics, and is a member of A&B Transportation, Conference Committee on Government Oversight, Government Oversight, and Transportation committees. Married to Marc since 2000, she has two married daughters and three grandchildren.
Education and Political Experience
She graduated from Oral Roberts University. Her political career began after college, working as a field representative in U.S. Rep. Ernest Istook’s office, focusing on infrastructure and military policy, followed by roles as a legislative assistant in the Oklahoma House. In the private sector, she was an analyst reviewing commercial property.
