Demetrius Douglas is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 78, which includes parts of Clayton and Henry counties such as Jonesboro, Lake Spivey, Lovejoy, Stockbridge, Morrow, and McDonough. Born on June 8, 1967, in Atlanta, Georgia, he grew up on the Southside of Atlanta and has resided in Henry County with his wife Veda and their two daughters, Destiny and Demi.
