Biography
Debbie Lesko is currently Vice Chair of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, representing District 4 since January 2025. She previously represented Arizona's 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2018 to 2025. Born Debra Kay Lorenz on November 14, 1958, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, she moved to Arizona in the 1980s, owned a construction sales business, and resides in Peoria with her husband Joe, three children, and six grandchildren. Notable achievements include founding the Protect Kids Caucus, co-chairing the Women in STEM Caucus and Values Action Team, serving on the Republican Study Committee's Executive Steering Committee, and receiving honors like “Champion of the Taxpayer,” “Guardian of Small Business,” and “Senator of the Year” during her state legislative service.
Education
Lesko earned a Bachelor of Arts in business from the University of Wisconsin. She graduated from Kohler High School in Kohler, Wisconsin.
