Biography

David I. Weprin is a Democratic Assembly Member representing New York's 24th Assembly District in Queens. Born on May 2, 1956, in Queens to Sylvia and Saul Weprin , he has lived his entire life in the Hollis-Jamaica area and comes from an Orthodox Jewish family with a strong political legacy—his father served the same district for 23 years, and his brother Mark Weprin for over 15 years.
