David Spiller is a Republican attorney and politician serving as the Texas House Representative for District 68, a vast rural area spanning 12 counties over 300 miles, including Brown, Comanche, Cooke, Eastland, Jack, Lampasas, Mills, Montague, San Saba, Shackelford, Throckmorton, and Young counties. Born February 4, 1961, and raised in Jacksboro, Texas, he was elected in a 2021 special election to replace Drew Springer. A rural conservative Christian, Spiller advocates for border security, lower taxes, pro-life policies, Second Amendment rights, rural schools and hospitals, high-speed internet access, property and water rights, and efficient government.
