Biography
David Sinclair is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing House District 50 . He assumed office on November 9, 2023, following a special election and was reelected for a second term in 2024. A Bath-based attorney, he runs a solo law practice focusing on services for the underprivileged, including small claims, debt collection, family law, criminal defense, and federal litigation. Notable achievements include serving two terms on the Bath City Council , volunteering on boards like the Bath Area Food Bank and Two Bridges Regional Jail Authority, and advocating for affordable housing, Midcoast families, seniors, essential services access, and equity in Maine's criminal justice system. He currently serves on the Judiciary Committee and lives in Bath with his wife Lauren and two children.
