Biography
Representative David Sieck
David Sieck is a Republican state representative for Iowa House District 16, based in Mills County, with a hometown in Glenwood. Born on June 27, 1957, in Council Bluffs, he was raised there and now resides in Glenwood with his wife Kim and three children. A farmer and real estate salesperson by profession, Sieck was first elected in 2015 and is currently serving his third term. He serves on committees including *Federal and Other Funds *, Agriculture, Economic Growth and Technology, and Transportation. Notable achievements include past leadership as president of the Iowa Corn Growers Association, director roles at Western Iowa Energy and Southwest Iowa Renewable Energy, and committee assignments with the National Corn Growers Association and U.S. Grains Council. He is a current member of the Missouri River Recovery Implementation Committee, Responsible River Management, and an ex-officio member of the Mills County Economic Development Foundation.
