David Ortiz is a Democratic politician who served as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives for District 38 from January 2021 to January 2025. Born on May 25, 1982, in Rapid City, South Dakota, he resides in Littleton, Colorado, and made history as the state's first bisexual legislator and first wheelchair user in the chamber. He chose not to seek reelection after two terms, focusing his tenure on disability rights, accessibility, and equity.
