David Ray Meade is a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 80 since January 2013. His district includes Garrard and Lincoln Counties as well as part of Pulaski County. He serves as Speaker pro tempore of the Kentucky House, the second-highest leadership position, and is married with two children. Notable achievements include winning the 2008 Kentucky State Champion Auctioneer title and serving as president of the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce in 2012. He owns Lincoln Realty and Auction Company and is active in real estate and auctioneering associations.
