Biography

David Marshall, a Republican, represents Arizona's Legislative District 7 in the Arizona House of Representatives. A resident of Snowflake, Arizona for over 23 years, he was born in Arlington, Virginia, moved to California as a young child where his father served in the United States Marine Corps, and graduated high school in Santa Ana. First elected in 2022 to the 56th Legislative Session and re-elected in 2024 for the 57th, his term runs through January 2027; he is running for the Arizona Corporation Commission in 2026. District 7 covers a predominantly rural area including the White Mountains and southern Navajo County. In April 2026, he was appointed Navajo County Recorder but is constitutionally ineligible to serve while in the legislature, potentially facing removal if he accepts.
