Biography
David Paul Linsky is a Democrat representing the 5th Middlesex District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, which includes the town of Natick and precincts 2 and 3 of Wayland. A lifelong Natick resident, he has served since 1999 and practices as a trial attorney. Notable achievements include leadership as Vice-Chair of the House Revenue Committee, past Chair of the House Committee on Post Audit & Oversight for 12 years, and House Chair of the Joint Committee on Federal Stimulus Oversight. He is a national leader in gun violence prevention legislation, an early supporter of Massachusetts' universal health insurance law , and advocate for marriage equality. Linsky secured funding for new schools like Natick High School and played key roles in criminal justice reform.
